This is a photo that I've played around with on photoshop. Because old buildings are not always straight, it's a bit tricky to find the proper adjustments.
I love old mills, barns, and covered bridges. There's a history to them that inspires my appreciation for what has gone before us. It brings out the nostalgic in me. I wonder how many lives have been intertwined or connected to an old building.
I would like to make this photo into one of my greeting cards. As long as the photo prints well, then I think it is a possibility. That is my primary concern. If it won't print well, then it's simply a picture I'll keep on my computer for personal enjoyment.
If you have thoughts for a greeting that might go with this card, let me know. I have a few possibilities that I would like to share and would be interested in your input.
(1) We have a history...and it's all good; (2) I love our history. It warms my heart; (3) Thank you...for your continuing interest in me. I appreciate your thoughtfulness; or (4) I am so thankful we're still friends.
One more suggestion came from a friend, "Come home. You feel so far away. I miss you."
What do you think fits well with this photo? Do you have an idea? Please share. Meanwhile, I used Topaz Adjust to enhance this mill, and added a vignette blur from Color Nix Pro.
Comments welcome. Leave your suggestions behind as you pass on through. Thank you.
